| Looking to do something different on your next
vacation? |
| Photo workshops: A healthy balance is created between
technical information and daily field trips to markets, festivals, and small villages
while trying local cuisine or visiting a vineyard for wine tasting. Using shared rental
cars for flexibility, participants stay in a typical Provencal 'mas", tuscan
farmhouse or on a barge in Burgundy. Class sizes are limited and can accommodate non
photographing companions. |
| Elizabeth Opalenik is a photographic artist based in
the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a fine art and editorial photographer whose work
with the extended print, infrared films, SX-70 manipulations and the Mordançage process
is exhibited, collected, and published internationally. Portfolios, insights and
interviews can be seen in Camera Arts Magazine, Zoom, PDN, and other publications.
Elizabeth has been teaching figure, handpainting and alternative workshops in the United
States and abroad for the past eighteen years privately and for The Maine Photographic
Workshops, Santa Fe Photographic Workshops, Hallmark and others. Recent clients include
Nancy Lopez Golf, Michael Good Design and brochures on Kenya safari, the Seychelles and
barging in France, Holland and Germany for Sea Air Holidays. Among other commercial
clients are Kodak, Life, Gossard Lingerie, Coty Perfume, American Express and the LPGA. A
former interior designer, accounting manager and restaurateur, Elizabeth uses her life
experiences, exposure to interesting participants and childhood memories on a farm in
western Pennsylvania to fuel her creativity. |
| If photography is your passion, I highly recommend her
workshops. It is also possible for Elizabeth to create a workshop
specifically for your group. |
| If you are a group leader and are looking for
a place to stay in either Provence or Tuscany, or if you would like to do something
different with your group (how about Barging), please do not hesitate to contact me at group@voyageeurope.com. I will be happy to help. |
