HELLO
FROM
EUROPE !
On
your upcoming trip to Europe why not visit the most
beautiful spring gardens in the world?
Let me tell you about Keukenhof…
It is one of the most popular attractions in the
Netherlands only about 30 miles from Amsterdam.
7 million bulbs
are planted there by hand each year, which makes it
the largest bulb flower park in the world. It is a
huge park with miles of footpaths going through
marvellous colourful displays of tulips, hyacinth
and daffodils.
It is a very
worthwhile visit which will probably be the highlight
of your European spring trip. You can get there
using public transport from either the center of
Amsterdam or from Schiphol airport. Plan at least a
half day visit.
Entrance fee is
14 EUR. Tickets can be purchased on the website.

Opening times
2010: March 18 to May 16 (inclusive).
Happy Travels!

And icing on
the cake, if you are in the Netherlands
on April 24, why not see the Netherlands
most famous parade? The flower parade.
It follows a 25 mile route from
Noordwijk to Haarlem and passes through
Keukenhof in the afternoon. It is
a treat
for flower lovers. |
