Villa Vedette
is on two floors and comfortably furnished
in classic Tuscan style. The ground floor of
the villa which opens directly onto the
spacious garden and swimming pool is
composed of a kitchen, a luminous dining
room with table and chairs, a lounge area
with settees (one of which converts to a
double bed on request), a double bedroom and
a shower room.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor
of the villa where there are four lovely
bedrooms each with en suite shower room (one
also has a small bath). All of the bedrooms
have a mini fridge, safe deposit box,
telephone, hairdryer and one also opens onto
a balcony. The villa is air conditioned
throughout (payable locally) and equipped
with all modern comforts such as satellite
television, DVD player, stereo, and washing
machine.
Villa Vedette is surrounded by its own
garden shaded by mature pines and olive
trees. The garden is equipped with a
barbecue and terrace for dining al fresco,
as well as boasting a lovely private
swimming pool (12m x 6m) the perfect spot
for soaking up the sun or cooling off on a
hot summers day.
Villa Vedette has the added bonus of being
able to use the facilities at the nearby
hotel owned by the same proprietors. The
hotel is just 200m away and has a restaurant
(where villa guests are offered a 10%
discount), and a beauty spa. Horse riding is
also available close by and there are 2 golf
courses within a short driving distance.
The villa is just off the road which leads
across the hills to two of the main
connecting roads in Tuscany making exploring
this beautiful region quick and easy. The
famous art cities of Pisa, Lucca, and
Florence are all within an hours’ drive and
the rest of Tuscany’s treasures such as San
Gimignano and Siena are lovely day trips
out. |
