This red brick farmhouse dating
from 1777 is set in a peaceful countryside, surrounded by sunflower fields. Its four
apartments can be combined to accommodate up to twenty people and is ideal for family
reunions and large groups of friends who want the privacy of their own apartment, yet be
close to their travel partners. The Macchione farmhouse's renaissance features include a
loggia and portico, wooden beams, and cotto floors. The view over the village of
Montepulciano and its lake is beautiful at sunset.
Its location makes it an excellent base to visit Tuscan gems such as Siena and
Cortona, or Umbrian jewels such as Orvieto and Chiusi. |

APARTMENT: |
| The Scaletta is a top floor
apartment with a capacity of up to five people in its two bedrooms. It has a terrace with
a view over the Montepulciano lake. Its fireplace can be used in the spring and the fall,
while the 1777 features such as brick arches, wooden beams and original brick floors can
be enjoyed all year round. |

| The Loggiato apartment is a top floor
apartment. The arched Loggia gives an excellent covered outdoor area which can be used in
most seasons, regardless of heat or rain.The views from all rooms and the loggia are
encompass farm fields and the quiet countryside. |

| The Sperone apartment is the bottom floor
apartment of the Macchione farmhouse, overlooking the Montepulciano Lake. You can directly
access the well kept grounds from its living room and bedrooms. A fireplace, wooden beams
and cotto floors are only some of the features you will enjoy if you vacation here. |

| CONDITIONS |
Prices
include hot water, gas and electricity costs. They also include cleaning prior to
and after your departure, as well as all local and state taxes. What is not included are
heating costs, needed between mid November and mid April. They will be charged at the
nominal rate based on consumption.
The accommodations are equipped with everything you need, including linen,
towels, and kitchen utensils. |
