| "Le Papere" is a pretty apartment on the
ground floor of a traditional Tuscan house conveniently situated in a quiet position in
the countryside only 2.5 km from the town of San Gimignano and just a short walk away from
a restaurant, bus stop and public telephone. The apartment takes its name from the owner's
two tame "papere" geese. |
| It is very comfortably furnished in traditional style
with tiled floors and terracotta ceilings. The owner's thoughtful touches have given it a
warm atmosphere which makes you feel immediately at home. The glass door of its living
room opens on to the apartment's private garden which enjoys a pleasant view of the
countryside. The garden with lawn and flowering plants is furnished with table and chairs
for eating outside, barbecue and sunbeds. In addition to its garden, on the opposite side
of the house, the apartment has its own little terrace furnished with table and chairs
under a tree so that you may sit and enjoy the beautiful view towards the medieval town of
San Gimignano. |
| Next door to Le Papere the owner and his family live.
They are friendly and helpful whilst not intruding on your privacy. Also next door is
their other rental apartment for four persons called Ref. Le
Rondini. Parking is in the grounds close to the house. |
