| In a very peaceful location in the countryside La Civetta "The Owl" nestles next to a vineyard within sight of the towers of San Gimignano 1.5kms away. The glass door of its living room opens directly on to the private terrace which enjoys a view of the medieval town. La Civetta's very secluded position is approached by a private driveway leading from the "Via Vecchia", the old Roman road to the town which is now a quiet country lane; it enjoys a spectacular panorama and makes for a most enjoyable walk into the town with its shops and restaurants. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| From La Civetta a pathway and rustic steps lead to the beautiful new swimming pool (12ms x 6ms) which is in a very private position enjoying fine views of the countryside in all directions. The pool is reserved for the use of guests renting La Civetta and for the owner. It is furnished with sun umbrellas and sunbeds. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| La Civetta is a bright house enjoying a happy atmosphere and pleasant views from all its windows. Its accommodation is all on one floor; on the basement floor there are only storerooms. It has traditional terracotta floors and is most comfortably and tastefully furnished. Its very spacious open plan living room has a high beamed ceiling, two windows and a glass door on to the apartment's private terrace. The terrace is furnished with sun umbrella and table and chairs for eating outside and sun loungers. The owners who live in Florence visit their farmhouse, which is next door to La Civetta, at weekends and holidays. They are friendly and helpful without intruding on your privacy.
