The Le Isole apartments are situated in a stunning position on the beautiful Amalfi coast, just a short distance from the little village of Massa Lubrense and only a few kilometres away from the famous town of Sorrento. The apartments, built down the hillside, all have wonderful sea views of the bay of Naples and the islands of Procida, Capri and Ischia from which the apartments take their names. A short walk downhill leads to a picturesque little bay, with a pebble beach and bathing jetties where each apartment has an area with sunbeds where you can relax and enjoy the soothing sound of gentle waves lapping against the shore whilst taking in the view.

The apartments, which are well equipped with modern comforts including satellite television and air conditioning, are built cleverly into the hillside and are situated one above the other, however, being on a slope their entrances are all effectively on the ground floor. Each has its own terrace and below there is also a furnished garden area for guests use.

Capri is a very pretty spacious apartment with a bright and airy atmosphere. Its large living room is very comfortable and has large arched windows with fantastic views of the sea and islands beyond. The living room and all the bedrooms all have patio doors opening onto the terrace, which enjoys the same lovely panorama and is the perfect spot for dining al fresco. A short walk leads to the bathing jetties which are furnished with sunloungers and are a lovely spot to relax or enjoy a cooling dip in the clear blue sea.

When you can tear yourself away from this idyllic spot, there is plenty to see in the area. Lovely whitewashed towns such as Positano and Amalfi built loftily on the hillsides looking down towards the clear blue sea are close by, and you can also enjoy a trip to Mount Vesuvius or the ruins at Pompeii. Sorrento is also well worth a visit, with its cosmopolitan atmosphere and delightful maze of shops, cafes and restaurants which are a joy to explore.

The owners who are friendly and helpful are happy to arrange organised excursions for you and the local bus service also reaches many of the local towns. Boat trips along the coast, and to the beautiful islands of Ischia and Capri are also normally available, and there are ferry services from Sorrento.

The cuisine in this area is superb, what better to lazily shop for the local produce and excellent fresh fish, to then dine alfresco on your own terrace overlooking the sea, or try out one of the selection of local restaurants or even a delicious neopolitan pizza. Breakfast can also be provided at the apartments on request. Some parking is available.

Note: As the Residence is built on the hillside, there are steps to the apartments, seafront and surrounding area, therefore this property may not be suitable for persons with walking difficulties.

PARKING in San Gimignano: The parking in San Gimignano is all round the historic centre (access to the historic centre is for residents only). Residents cannot park in town unless they have their own private parking space. They also have to park outside the town. Most of the public parking is in pay car parks. These charge by the hour and are quite expensive. We are able to offer you to park in a private car park at the price of Euro 25 per week. The use of this car park is not obligatory. If you decide not to use this car park, you will not have to pay this parking fee. There is free car parking on the outskirts of the town. You will need to watch the signs carefully as parking is restricted or not allowed at certain times (e.g road cleaning, local markets, school pick up times etc). These parking areas are further from the property you are renting (approx 10 - 15 mins walk) than the private car park we are offering you. Let us know at the time of reservation if you would like a space in the private car park. The fee of 25 Euros will be payable locally to the owner of the car park.
