The farmhouse has been lovingly restored and now forms three pretty apartments. Aida G, on two floors, is nicely furnished in typical Tuscan country style and has a homely and inviting atmosphere. Gorgeous original features, such as exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings have been retained and a lovely highlight is the covered terrace, complete with table and chairs for dining al fresco.

The ground floor of the apartment consists of a living room with sitting area, dining table and chairs and fireplace, separated by an brick archway from the country style kitchen area. On the same floor is a shower room and a single bedroom (an extra single bed can be added on request to accommodate an extra person). Stairs lead for the first floor where there are two pretty bedrooms, one with twin beds, one with double bed and a further bathroom.

Modern comforts including dishwasher, washing machine and satellite television have been added and the attentive owners have provided the welcome touches of fans and fly screens to the apartment, there is also a barbecue for guests use. The house is surrounded by lovely gardens and in a sunny position in the grounds is an oval shaped swimming pool (12m x 6m) encircled by a sun terrace and enjoying a fine view of the surrounding countryside. The owners estate spreads over a hundred hectares and its organic produce, including olive oil and wine can be tasted and purchased locally.

There is plenty to see and do in the area, the countryside can be explored on foot, by mountain bike (which are available on request) on horseback as there are riding stables just 3km from the property, or you can even canoe down the nearby river Ombrone. The main town of Grosseto is just 10km away and has a large selection of shops and amenities and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The beautiful Tuscan coast with its wide stretches of sandy beach is within easy driving distance (24km approx), and many local sights such as the national parks, pretty towns of Sovana, Pitigliano and the famous thermal spas of Saturnia are close by. There are also main road links making Siena, Florence and even Rome accessible in a day.

Aida G is the perfect base for combining a stay in the countryside with sightseeing and at the same time being within easy reach of the sea and beautiful beaches that the Maremman coastline has to offer. Aida G can be intercommunicating with Aida A next door on request.
