Badgastein / Bad Hofgastein 8 A spa town with elegant hotels and restaurants.
Innsbruck / Igls 8 Innsbruck is a good destination for intermediate skiers. There are 5 skiing areas easily accessible from Innsbruck.
Ischgl 8 One of Austria's top resorts. It is a charming modern village offering excellent skiing for intermediate skiers.
Kirchberg 6 Linked with Kitzbuhel, Kirchberg offers excellent ski runs to all levels.
Kitzbuhel 10 Large, cosmopolitan town offering great skiing, shopping and sightseeing.
Lech 10 One of Austria's top resorts. Traditional, expensive. Great skiing.
Mayrhofen 6 A good resort for beginners to learn to ski. It is popular with the British.
Neustift / Stubai Valley 4 Accessible from Innsbruck, these two resorts offer limited but good skiing.
Obergurgl 6 Nice village offering good skiing for all levels, especially intermediate and experts.
Obertauern 6 Good resort for intermediates and beginners with excellent ski conditions.
Saalbach-Hinterglemm 10 Excellent resort in all aspects: Picturesque village, excellent snow conditions. Great skiing.
St. Anton / St. Christoph 10 Part of the Arlberg ski domain, St. Anton is a great resort, offering   perfect skiing for advanced and intermediate skiers.
Schladming 6 A pleasant, lively town offering excellent skiing for intermediate skiers.
Schruns / Montafon 6 Schruns is one of the villages in the Montafon ski area. It is a lively place to stay. The skiing is especially good for intermediate skiers.
Seefeld 6 Easily accessible from Innsbruck, this resort is better known for cross-country skiing; but it offers excellent down-hill skiing for beginners.
Solden 6 This resort offers skiing all year-round thanks to its glaciers. It has an international clientele.
Soll 6 This is a great value for money resort. Beginner slopes at the base of the resort are free. Popular with British skiers.
Zell Am See/Kaprun 6 Close to Salzburg, this two towns share a lift pass. This is a great ski area for intermediate skiers.
Zurs 10 This is an excellent ski resort with great skiing. It is beautiful, expensive and posh.
The Arlberg 10 This is a huge ski domain. Lech, Zurs, St.Anton, St. Christoph and Stuben are all linked by a single Arlberg ski pass. It is a great choice for intermediate and advanced skiers.
